My group (Marko and Daniel) and I visited last Thursday the Trade Fair Event. It brings companies, which would like to evaluate themselves more climate neutral and new Start-ups, which have ideas for businesses together.
In this year we saw 13 new startups with more than 50 products/concepts. Despite the number of companies offering products, I found it interesting that the number of companies providing services was low. Although I hoped more service ideas, rather than bare products like trees in a bundle.
Anyway, we, as a experienced security company, want to reduce our carbon footprint. Currently we have more than 1.000 gasoline-powered company cars in active use for driving to customers and server locations.. We purchased exhaust filters for each of these vehicles from Drive Green for $8.000. Their product can only be used for 5 years, although they offer a 50% discount on the return of the filters after 5 years of use over the sale price.
