Continuous exposure to aluminum can induce bone diseases. During the experiment, the researchers found that the levels of ALP (identification marker of bone lesions) and BGP (marker of osteocalcin and osteoblast activity) in the serum of rats treated with aluminum trichloride were significantly reduced, and aluminum trichloride could cause inflammatory reaction in mice. After n1mn treatment, the activity levels of alkaline phosphatase and Oscar star increased significantly, reversed the nad reduction of femoral cells induced by aluminum trichloride, and the trabecular thickness and trabecular number were also improved. This is enough to prove the protective effect of NMN on bone defect induced by aluminum trichloride.

Subsequently, this study revealed the potential mechanism of n1mn in the treatment of bone injury, that is, inhibiting oxidative stress, NLRP3 gene inflammatory pathway (which can induce immune response) and the production of proinflammatory cytokines, reducing bone defects and alleviating the symptoms of bone injury.
