2. Cara kerja perangkat lunak antiplagiasi
a. Turnitin, alat bantu ini adalah adanya bukti otentik bahwa suatu tulisan orisinal. Hanya saja aplikasi ini tidak gratis dan harus berlangganan.
b. PlagScan, tool ini mirip seperti Turnitin harus login terlebih dahulu. Namun di sediakan kolom khusus untuk bisa mengecek tulisan tanpa login sehingga jika ada orang lain yang mengcopy paste bisa terdeteksi.
c. Smallseotools, digunakan dalam mengecek sebuah artikel yang mengcopy paste atau orisinal. Dengan cukup menempelkan alamat url artikel yang sudah di publish ke Smallseotools maka secara otomatis akan langsung terlihat berapa jumlah persentase copy paste atau tidaknya.
d. Duplichecker, perangkat ini ada tiga opsi pengecekan dan pencarian plagiasi. Pertama, pengguna dapat melakukan pencarian plagiasi melalui teks yang disalin dalam kotak pencarian, dengan ketentuan maksimal 1.000 kata. Kedua, pengguna dapat melakukan cek plagiasi melalui file dokumen yang diunggah. Dan yang ketiga, pengguna harus menginputkan alamat url untuk mengetahui situs apa saja yang terkait dengan konten yang sama dengan situs yang digunakan sebagai media pencarian.
