2014年6月，主演瞭喜劇愛情片《一路驚喜》，她在片中飾演瞭任性白富美安琪清；8月，在古裝斷案劇《通天狄仁傑》中飾演瞭“冰塊臉”女刺客慕容 ；9月，主演瞭抗戰題材劇《戰神》，在劇中飾演瞭性格善良溫柔賢惠的豪門千金江畑幸子 ；同年在民國偶像劇《杜心五傳奇》中飾演瞭晚清格格“關雪”。
闞清子整體的穿搭具有英倫風。她的鞋子更具有看點，這雙鞋子有著厚厚的鞋底，就是典型的“驢蹄鞋”的鞋底，不過闞清子穿著著一雙鞋子，卻意外的好看。闞清子是打破瞭“驢蹄鞋”的魔咒，穿奶茶色的“驢蹄鞋”，好看到爆！
2016年1月，闞清子特別出演瞭東方魔幻題材劇《海上牧雲記》，並在劇中飾演瞭前朝公主姬公主 。4月，闞清子與張哲瀚、李一桐、洪堯聯合主演瞭民國玄幻愛情劇《半妖傾城Ⅱ》，她在劇中飾演瞭民國大明星姚碧桃。隨後，主演瞭偶像劇《那刻的怦然心動》。
018年1月11日，獲QQ興趣部落“心賞之夜”年度“心”賞飛躍女藝人獎。2月8日，參加2018湖南衛視春晚。5月7日，出演的真人秀節目《女人有話說》播出。
