Cobras in red buckets are guided into a safe location so the glue on their bodies can be removed.
An earlier image captured by WRAL show the snake scrabbling to the front porch of a house on Sandringham Drive, crawling through the siding. As it lifted its head, the hood was visible.
After confirming it was the snake, Animal Control officers moved the camera crews back before moving in to capture it.
The search was sparked by a 911 call from the same home early Tuesday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. Following hours of consultation and preparation by police and animal control officers, a glue trap captured a venomous zebra cobra on a north Raleigh porch on Wednesday, capping an event that garnered attention throughout the state.
Cobra was placed in red bucket and moved to a safe location to fully remove glue from its body.
The snake was seen crawling onto a porch of a house on Sandringham Drive earlier in the day. When it lifted its head to look around, the top of its hood was visible.
When Animal Control officers confirmed the snake was the one they moved camera crews back before they attempted to catch it.

Joan Nelson said she was relieved that the ordeal was over.
She said she was really happy and that she felt much safer now. It feels good to be able to walk on the deck and outside. However, I feel bad for the snake.
A zebra cobra has been missing from a north Raleigh neighborhood where this stunted snake is seen.
The snake, a zebra cobra, is extremely fast and can spit up to nine feet away, making a walk with the dog even scarier. Consequently, the African Snakebite Institute says the snake is very dangerous. A victim's nervous system could shut down if stung with venom.
An individual hit by the snake's poison would feel immediate pain, swelling, irritation, vomiting, and diarrhea. It would then lead to a high fever and breathing problems, which could cause respiratory failure.
Salina Locke is an experienced veterinarian at Avian and Exotic Animal Care, where she treats all types of pets.
Normally, this cobra species does not bite. It is more likely that they will spray their venom . They are very accurate and go straight for the eyes.
Despite the risks involved, Locke does not recommend keeping this snake as a pet.
Sleeping is when most bites occur. Bite victims could be plagued with health problems for years, studies show.
In the late afternoon on Tuesday, police searched 6917 Chamonix Place, near the place where the snake was last spotted.
There were four visits by police to that house in March in connection with an animal issue. On Monday and Tuesday, they returned after spotting the zebra cobra on a porch about a half mile away.
According to county records, Keith and Rebecca Gifford live at that address. The Facebook page containing Keith Gifford's name contains several photos of snakes that he claims to own.
Christopher Gifford has over 460000 followers on his TikTok account. According to one of his posts, he claims to have a 7-foot zebra cobra.
