除瞭索尼之外，日本三菱在2006年也推出瞭激光電視產品；
2007年，光峰光電研發出ALPD激光顯示技術；
2008年三星在美國市場推出最大73英寸的激光電視
2013年，日本LG在CES上展示瞭一款100英寸激光電視；
2014年，中國海信推出100英寸激光電視產品。該款電視內置VIDAA操作系統，可在距離墻面不到0.5米的空間內，投射出100英寸以上的顯示畫面；
2016年，深圳市金研微科技有限公司展出瞭一款120英寸激光影院機，投射比達到0.23，距離墻面40cm即可投射120英寸，再一次刷新瞭激光電視在消費市場的最大尺寸；
2017年極米科技推出瞭雙色4K激光光源的產品T1，目前這款電視的價格也是非常土豪，接近8萬元。
