where is your family line from? (ex* germany, england, etc.) - They came from parents and grandparents came from Ireland (Murphys) Murrey= irish and english, little bit of scotch

when did your family come to the United States? My parents were born here. and i have nobody else to ask.

Why did they come? dont know who, ----> Iowa

Kennedy Got Shot- What was that like for your family

very very sad. I don't have much to say about that."


World War ii- "I had an uncle, and cousins, and one fiance was a para-troopers (paramedic) and was killed, had black-outs, special curtains, and uncle was patrol,
I remember the end of the war and the celebrations.

McCarthy- witch hunt, a lot of people were badly hurt and injured.


Civil Right Movement- Not very involved (pasadini)

college lady came up to me during lunch (was working in a restaurant) and asked me if i could use the bathroom

first walk on the moon- dont have a very good memory, but your grandfather made me two martinis, and i remember the rest of the kids

Vietnam- I was in h.s. I had a lot of friends going into the service, had no friends killed, but i do remember that. We have family members in the service now.

When you were in H.S- Oh gosh. We had pep-rallies at lunch for football season, if you were supposed to yell your lungs out and not be able to speak. Proms were fun. No-off campus. High School was good, wish i payed more attention and didn't goof off. There was gym class of course. School was very involved. I didn't take gym classes, i did modern dance classes, and i did NOT run. but i was good at sports.

anti-war movement- bra-burning, i was too busy having babies, i wasn't very involved.
