Bring your laptop, tablet, and sometimes your smartphone to the campsite with your kids.

This is something I've learned through trial and error. My mother was there to remind me to be ready for anything. I was excited about my first camping experience with her grandkids as well as my mom, but she was constantly advising me on how to prepare. I do not mind my mom's speaking. But watching her lecture can make things uncomfortable. So I tried to finish it more quickly than I was supposed to. It was a mistake. I found out the hard way.

We drove out with the car, intending to bring it all back to the campground. I wanted to recreate the authentic camping experience I had with my father in the past, so I chose the most remote spot, which was, it turned out to be in an area with no service. This meant that our smartphones were out of service and we were pretty much completely alone, with no other camping party in sight. You can forgive me. I had hoped for a wonderful time off working.. Three days in the wild, in nature.. After 24 hours of the camping trip the group was returning to the car.
What was the next thing that happened? We had nothing, had no internet, no bars , and no money. I had packed my laptop along with a few online games. But it was impossible to take it out of the bag. I had a stunning background to display the trees. They only wanted to look up their messages, check their emails, and keep track of school activities, etc. It was too much for me and I packed up to go. My kids created sounds that sounded like piglets enjoying delicious food. My kids are my favorite. But that was simply embarrassing. They squealed, and moaned when their phones began to beep and alerting them to incoming texts and emails.
Since then, I have learned to be more prepared and not to get stuck in an internet-less area with no roaming. When we took a journey by boat to the destination, we had to have our best friends. Two laptops and tablets were loaded with Hulu offline video downloads, Netflix movies and show on one device and every music video I had on another. I also used the Windows app store which has both Hulu apps and Netflix apps. I have about 600 hours of content to watch, including full Will & Grace, Friends and South Park seasons and added episodes.
For children, I have collection of videos with amusing things. I downloaded a few music videos from Youtube and converted them to MP3 and MP4 formats to watch or listen. A few of the videos I downloaded help this web app, it lets me get video downloaded directly to my laptop. Then I can play it at any time with no Internet I just need an electric source if you need to recharge. I record a variety of TV shows or movies and even seminars online. The video files are saved as MP4 to my computer. I can then open them up later using VLC or KMP.

4k is another thing I insist on. Have you seen this? Video is clear, incredible. I recommend this TV. Televisions with 4K picture support come with an amazing software that enhances and process the picture. The TV can transform old footage into something much better. Highly recommended for all age groups!
