When online seminar has unique video events, never watch them, just get video file instead.
This actually works with any live video that's said to be limited in time and is only for subscribers. This has never been an issue for me. Since I'm using the wireless hotspot WiFi in my cheap motel, I have a slow and inconsistent internet connectivity at home. I often bring water to their offices, and then I snatch their password that is updated every two weeks. I save money by not having to buy my own internet. It doesn't require the connection of a home cable for this to be a breeze. I simply access the internet through my motel instead. It lets me to be more discrete. I prefer not to have my own street address when I use the Internet.
Therefore, whenever an online seminar is offered by my investment advisor or my school has lectures by a renowned professor, or even if there's a underground party streaming, it will be the same. I'm unable to watch streaming video because of my slow connection. It generally takes about 2-3 minutes to download the video onto my computer. As I'll show my connection is slow and is only 30 percent of what I need to stream it smooth and without buffering interruptions. Since my Internet connection is slow, I have discovered a method to work around it. I can save online videos to my laptop so I can watch it repeatedly time without buffering.
Here's the most recent I've done. I launch Chrome browser, Firefox, Safari, or any other browser that has an inspect tab. Right-click on the page, call the inspect page and then go to the network tab, and search for the video playlist files. It should be with the file extension m3u8 within the file list. Other times it may be an alternative extension. However, these characters are visible and will show a fragmented playlist for your video. The video stream is divided into smaller files that your browser downloads one at a time and then plays them in their order. This ensures you have an uninterrupted stream. Although this is an effortless process but it will require more data transfer than the size of the file. This is how mpeg transport streams are setup.
After that, I right-click on the file and copy its URL (into to the clipboard), and then I navigate to the site to download videos online. After entering the video playlist URL, click the submit button. After a couple of minutes, I am presented with a variety of choices for downloading. Each of them indicates the final file size, transfer time and much more. The file size will increase depending on the quality you choose. I would rather choose low quality, even if it's too fast for my Internet.

I decide to download the file. Usually it's mp4 video format. It can take hours however the satisfaction of knowing what's available is what keeps me going. It's difficult to watch live, so I save the videos online on my computer. This lets me keep up with all data available. It's how I keep my mind stimulated by ideas, concepts, and other interesting technological advances. If I save videos and don't connect to WiFi, it all appears to be alive. This is something I highly recommend. There is no buffering, no lagging and smooth streaming.
