My process is simple. After finding videos I like, I save them to a playlist. Once the playlist's URL is copied, I head to one of three websites that can help me. Converto first, then the more popular Y2mate and 2conv, if either of them fails. Since it is able to be compatible with German videos, the last one is typically the last to try. However it isn't fond of playlists so it's strictly my preference. Converto works well with playlists of videos. It shows all videos and gives suggestions for downloading them in one go or convert them into MP3/MP4 format. Converto can be used in a variety of languages and is safe.

My second choice is Y2mate, however sometimes it is my first choice. While it's not a major issue but it's annoying to see that there numerous redirects, advertisements and full-screen banners as well as other distractions. It's extremely commercial, difficult to use, and it frequently distracts you from pop-ups. Similar to 2conv, but they appear more like static banners and thus more elegant. There are translations available to other languages, but less than the original. While they may be safer however, they still could pose risks and risk to your computer if they advertise. If you choose to agree to their terms, you should be cautious. You will also find a smaller number of websites that download videos and then convert them to mp3 or 4, so it's not because they can't.

I'm more likely to collaborate with established labels as opposed to those who are new. The ones that have proven their ability to survive are around despite constant attention from labels and the authorities. I enjoy knowing that the website I'm using is secure and safe.
