Long Long ago Maui a very brave and young Moui worrer was haning out at the pa, with his four brothers.Maui and his tribe hardly had any time to collect wood,food,and go fishing.Maui said ''I`m going to slow down the sun.His brothers said its impossible.I`ll burn us up.But his brothers helped anyway.He showed his brothers the special way to make flax into rope.The brothers travelled at night so the sun wouldn't know they were coming.It was a lllloooooonnnnggg way to where the sun rises.Once they were there Maui told his brothers to bulid walls out of rocks and harakeke.First came red firey flames and then the big white teeth .Maui hid down as small as a mouse.Don't throw the ropes till I say so NOW.Maui jumped up and his brothers thew the ropes at the sun.Maui took the magic jawbone from his grandmother and banged and banged the magic jawbone at the sun bang bang bang.Maui asked the sun to go slower.The sun said ''no '' So Maui went bang bang ok ok cried the sun.So from then on the sun went slower.
