The second secret of football success is hard work. Although some players might say they are going to "turn it up in the game", this is not a great mental approach. If you don?t put in hard practice, there is a good chance you won?t do well in the game. I disagree with the coach who believes that practice makes perfect. If you practice poorly you will play poorly. Perfect practice makes perfect!

Concentrate some of your exercise on speed. Jump squats are a good way to increase the speed and power of your reflex muscles. Jump on a step while squatting down. Stand straight up, then jump back down to do a squat. Repeat this exercise 40 times daily and gradually increase the height of the step.
