There are some youth football coaches that believe "the more the merrier" when it comes to player numbers. Many of these coaches believe that if they have more players, they will have a better chance of finding a star to lead their team. There is a local team that carried 40-60 players on its squad and still lost most of its games, poor coaching often won't even overcome huge talent pools. One of our Omaha league teams was faced with a team that had 52 kids. The majority of league teams have between 22 and 35 players. High numbers guarantees nothing but lots of headaches for the head coach, very low numbers will do the same.

Football players should also make sure they get the best protein supplement. Whey protein should be preferred over soy protein for football players. Whey protein gives you more grams per serving, compared to soy, and whey is easier for most people to digest and metabolize in contrast to a soy based protein. Remember that I'm talking youth football, for young players and coaches. The best way of beating the zone defense is not to flood the zone with too many players and to place them in areas that aren't covered. Each zone has a hole. Find the gaps to find success.

We have found that 24-25 is the best number of players to start your season. We mix and match until the number of players on each team is reached. visit here lose 1 player before the season begins.
