may not be used for much purposes. these are mostly found in parks, footpaths or beside railway tracks.

* forests prevents soil erosion.
*forests regulate water supply.
*it checks for pollution in the air and maintains a healthy environment.
*it gives a supply of food.
*provides raw materials
*used in medicines.
*it regulates the water supply to rivers.
*forests gives employment to people engaged in this industry.
