I've decided not to go to the funeral because it would mean that I would be lying to myself and everyone in the room. I can probably trick myself d into wanting to go because you're implying that it's the right thing to do. Deep inside, however I will be thinking it would be a waste of time since I never had that familial connection with grandpa. You taught me not to lie so I'm deciding now not to go because it would be disrespectful to attend for the wrong reasons. Also, I don't believe I would regret this decision in the future because the man had very little significance other than being my biological grandfather. Grandmother would be upset but I'm sure she will understand eventually. Also, auntie and uncle have already achknowledged and agreed that I can be absent and that it is excusable. The math test was just a snippet of my justification. I didn't want to admit I had no care for the man.
