The Sacred Heart Church in Manhattan and the Bronx
The Sacred Heart Church is a Catholic parish in Manhattan and the Bronx. It was founded in 1876. The church began as Plymouth Baptist Church, which was located at 487 West 51st Street. Then in 1900, the Sacred-Heart Parish was built on the site. The original pastor was Father Raymond Dalla Porta, who was appointed by Cardinal O'Connell. The congregation was founded on this site, and later grew to include many other congregations.

https://thesacredheartchurch.org was organized in June 1875 and served the territory formerly part of St. Augustine's parish.
