How do you keep boredom at bay during long hours as a night security guard at an underground facility

Times are tough. This new world of gig economy, I'm finding it difficult to navigate like I used to before. I used to do very well prior to the outbreak of the pandemic and now besides my main job as dental assistant, I was required to take an evening security job in a local machine production plant that is close to where I live. I have an emergency phone number that I can dial if there is an issue or machinery stops. Next, I call engineers or dial an outside number to get additional engineers. I don’t do anything. I've been trying various car-fixing videos lately. I don't have the ability to apply them immediately to my car , but I enjoy seeing other people create their vehicles to stop stopping. DIY videos can be as instructive and simple. Another issue occurred. My internet went down shortly enough for me to be in a position to access any kind of content or access the internet in any other manner. I was capable of downloading Youtube videos and then save them on my smartphone. I was able to view diy videos when the internet was down. It doesn't matter whether you're watching the video on your phone, no matter if you stream it on an internet site or on the internet, or download video at home, and then stream it on your phone when you don't have wifi or any online access. The same applies to DVR for online videos.

My pure joy at streaming new episodes and films directly to my laptop is a testimony to the power of television. Because my laptop is equipped with bigger screen and better speakers, I have taken it to work. I just signed up for HULU, and now I have Netflix and Hulu. Both of them allow you to install their app and instead of watching a film you can save the movie for download, then forget about it after a couple of hours, based on the length of the show and quality options the show will be saved to your device and available to watch at any time with no internet connection. Even though it is only 15 minutes in length, I can still watch TV on the train to work.

I also have a variety of educative or simply fascinating resources that I can access at home to help speed up the time. I really love Youtube's webinars on different self-improvement techniques However, it's difficult to watch a 1 hour video that gets interrupted several times and yet stay with what they're trying to deliver. This is what I mean. You will see the point.

My son is sometimes with me to work. It's those days when my wife is working night shifts, making it difficult for us to remain at home with our children. Therefore, I take him along with me and put him right by the computer screens that I watch. He sleeps within minutes. If he awakes, I bring him my laptop with some music videos, and he's taking in the show. This is how we can all work together better by doing our thing. He loves to go to my house with me. It could be because he stays up late, which is what children need.
