Google and Yahoo! announced in April 2004 that they were going to remove online gambling advertising from their sites on a totality basis. In February 2005, the North Dakota House of Representatives approved a bill that would legalize and regulate online poker and operators of online poker rooms in the State. Testifying before the State Senate, the CEO of one online cardroom, Paradise Poker, pledged to relocate to the state if the legislation was passed into law. more hints defeated the bill in March 2005.
