Two players must place the large and small blinds in order for the game's to start. The player to their immediate left will place the smallblind. The player to your left of the button will place the big blind. The game can now begin after these bets have been placed.

Players can now discard (throw away), any or all of the cards they have from the first deal. All discarded cards are placed face down and the dealer collects them.

The dealer proceeds to "burn? another card face down on a table and then deals a single, or the turn card. There are now 4 cards at the table. In Texas Holdem however, each player may only use 3 of these cards to make their 5-card poker hand. Again, poker action begins with a small blind. The dealer acts last. Check, Bet and Raise, or Fold.

If your bluffs are too frequent, no one will trust you.
