Ayah sangat mencintai dunia kuliner, berbanding dengan shiori yang sangat menyukai dunia seni. Shiori dikenal sebagai anak yg ceria di kalangan keluarga besarnya, yagami. Namun berbeda di sekolah, ia menjadi sedikit diam dan hanya dekat dengan orang-orang tertentu. Shiori menghabiskan waktunya untuk melukis dan melukis. di sekolahnya di Kyūshū fasilitas sekolah sangat minim, sehingga ia memutuskan untuk transfer sekolah , mikaguragakuen.
