I'm here to talk about integrating AMC Plus into Google TV, Google search results, and integrating the AMC Plus app for content searches.


Just to avoid confusion, Android TV is essentialy Google TV with a software skin, and the Android Google TV app is part of the Google TV service.


I've noticed how overall big AMC Plus as a service has become, but on platforms like Apple TV and Android TV, AMC Plus hasn't added their name to the roster. While I do see AMC as a service under Google when looking up AMC shows, AMC Plus, the subscription service seems absent.


I recommended that AMC Plus integrate itself into Android TV, or more specifically, Google TV, because of how much of an audience is there and how overall convenient the experience would be for the customer. If AMC Plus was an option under Google TV, Android TV would show me recommendations and TV shows that are on AMC Plus. Giving me a selection as to what TV shows are on the platform and which ones aren't.


Plus, it'd make the streaming experience a whole lot more faster. Rather then looking through the AMC Plus app to find a show or movie, I could use Google TV to find a show through AMC Plus, and just select AMC Plus as an option. Plus, if I had to talk about Google Assistant functionality, it would make the experience even more accessible and easier for those who just want to watch something on a platform like AMC Plus.


Adding your name to Google TV would also make it more likely for people to see shows on AMC Plus, and watch them through the platform. Most of the AMC Plus shows I see don't have any mention of them being on AMC Plus, so if AMC Plus was added as a service, it'd get the name out there, and draw more attention to the service.


To simply put, I recommend AMC Plus integrate itself into Android TV, or Google TV, as a service to draw more attention, and add more customer convenience to an otherwise solid product.
