It is important to prepare for travel with kids. There isn't any free WiFi available.

Yes I did say that.. My kids are so bad at thisthat they believe the wifi on the at the top of the mountain is weak.. While it's not a huge hill, it is well within the normal cell range so my children have to walk around in search of more reliable internet. While my wife and I are setting the camp site for our little group. We're hoping to stay for at least one day. The small brook is nearby and provides water for our camp. Yes, it is.. My wife cannot go camping without a large supply of fresh water and we carry our fresh water most of the times.


My kids are back on social media and I'm taking in the views. Although the hill is small but it's situated in the middle of larger ones. We go to this hill every often in order to feel closer to mother earth. These trips are truly my pleasure, even though I'm not the one who initiates these trips. My wife insists that I go on these trips, possibly partly because she knows the importance for me to spend time in the wild. My children are a totally different story. Internet is often unavailable. A magnetic movement or other cause a temporary interruption to your streaming audio. It could last for up to a minute or so, before the audio returns. It's really irritating to me, cause I tend to hear the entire thing..

After a few trips that were without internet access and our regular internet would drop in and out of use we decided to prepare. My wife here and I decided that we'd prepare for the day when our children won't be able to access the internet for longer than 10 minutes. We created two sources of entertainment we could access at any time internet access isn't accessible during our camping trips. One was a tablet full of music videos and the current chart-topping songs. Our preferred Youtube MP3 convertor was able to help us extract music from videos, convert them to MP3 before downloading them to the tablet. It also works with playlists, which made it very fast although it does sound extremely long. Now you can listen to music or view videos when you are bored. This is pretty cool, don't you think? The item does not produce any sound.

Second tablet contained mostly cartoons and TV shows we downloaded through Hulu as well as Netflix apps that offer offline storage to watch later. The quality is not great but it's still something. We have several seasons on Breaking Bad there and many cartoons like Family Guy and Disenchantment. It was extremely enjoyable and simple to use. All you have to do is install the apps, allow downloads for offline viewing download the episodes, and then mark them as ready for download. The application will handle everything. Tablet 2 was introduced just a couple of times after tablet 1. It was there when we finally arrived at The Wild. My kids couldn't stop using it and watching the shows. There were some DIY videos I put on for things like building a tent, or skinning fresh caught fish. Things you would never do at home in the city.. The videos were downloaded from Youtube and converted into MP4 and then downloaded onto my tablet. It's much easier to watch videos on your tablet when you're working.

These 2 tricks have kept my kids entertained for the past 4 family camping trips. While they may not like getting out anymore They know that their tablet 2, keeps them entertained in boring idle time. They will also be able to take it home as soon as they are done. I've never felt happier, it's really all I've ever wanted - to be with my family.
