Football Doesn't Have Be So Brutal
My mistake was to not terminate the teams enrollment. visit here was that the team practiced right across the street from Omaha?s largest housing project, and the children had no other place to play football. After the neighborhood kids saw our football practice the first day, more and more kids started showing up, begging to be on the team. I'm not very good at turning away kids in need, and these were kids that needed the program more than we needed them, so I took them all. I had 3 teams the following year, and we had the coaches we needed in order to accommodate teams of 25.

If you still feel that you don't have the skills to be a head coach, then you can offer assistance. From being an assistant, you will be able to witness what it feels like to be a coach. You will learn from this experience how to deal with your players and what your strategies are for training.

Although I understand your passion for football, you will be done playing by your 30's, if your pro career lasts that long.

Same applies to practice. You don't want to lose your starting job or be unable to find one. Don't practice.even once. I promise you, someone will steal your practice.
