Different Types Of Poker Games
When you are near the blinds or in an early position, you should be bringing in stronger hands. You should be playing much more "tight" from this position and should only be calling/limping into the pot with hands that can stand a raise, or you are looking to play a big multi-way pot. If you win early in the tournament with a big stack, you should start intimidating other players. Use your chips to your advantage and force the short stacks to fold.
