It is crucial to prepare for travel with kids. There isn't free WiFi up there.

Yes I said that.. My children are terrible at this, they think WiFi on top of the mountain is weak.. It's just a tiny hill. However, it's above the normal network range. Therefore, my children have to look for better internet connections while my wife and myself set up a small camp. We're planning to stay for at least one day. The tiny brook is right next to us and supplies water to our camp. Yes.. my wife can't go camping without plenty of water therefore we'll bring our own.

And so my children are back on their social media profiles, and I'm taking in the panorama.. It's not a lot, but it's bordered on all sides by larger hills. It is a hill we visit often to be closer to Mother Earth. While I do appreciate these trips but it's not my intention to initiate them. My wife is the sole one to insist of taking me out, partly due to the fact that she knows how much I enjoy being out in the wilderness. My children are an entirely different story. Internet can be down at times. The interruption in streaming music could be due to something in the clouds, or perhaps magnetic motions. It's really irritating to me, cause I tend to hear it all happen..

So, after a couple of trips where there was no internet and normal internet service on our smartphones kept going into and out of use and out of service, we decided to be prepared. We, i.e. my wife and me, prepared for the event that our kids won't be able to access the internet for more that 10 minutes. We created two entertainment sources that we could access when internet access isn't accessible when we go camping. https://ytmp3.cyou The tablet was loaded with music videos and some of the most popular songs on it. Our preferred Youtube mp3 converter helped us remove songs from video clips, convert them to mp3 file and download onto the tablet. It also was able to work with playlists so it was quite fast, even though it sounds awful. If anyone was feeling uninspired or down, they could still listen to music and watch videos. And, luckily for us all, sounds is able to be heard using Bluetooth-connected headphones. That's pretty cool, right? This item produces no sound.

The second tablet had mostly television shows and cartoons that we downloaded from Hulu or Netflix. The quality may not be great however it's a lot of fun. There are numerous seasons of Breaking Bad there and many cartoons such Family Guy and Disenchantment. It was fun and easy. Tablet 2 was delivered a few days after tablet one. When it finally arrived my kids were able to use it and watch shows. I personally added some DIY vides there, such as putting up the tent and skinning freshly caught fish.. These are things you can't perform at home. The videos I downloaded from Youtube and converted into MP4 and then saved on my tablet. It's much simpler to play videos on your tablet when you're working and don't have time to wait for videos to start streaming when you're there.. Download the video to your tablet prior to time, and then do not waste time on this.


These two tips have kept our children entertained on four family camping outings. They even don't mind coming out anymore, - they know that the tablet 2 will allow them to get through the boring time and take it home when they are prepared. It's everything I've ever wanted, and I've never been more content.
