1. teknik vokal merupakan suatu cara/teknik dalam mengolah suara dengan baik dan benar, dan suara yang dikeluarkan akan terdengar merdu, jelas, indah dan nyaring. Sehingga suara tersebut enak untuk di dengar.
2. sifat nada ada 4, yaitu :
a. Intensitas nada yang berarti keras atau lembutnya bunyi suatu nada. Hal ini tergantung pada lebarnya getaran dan sifatnya relatif.
b. Tinggi nada (pitch) berkaitan dengan frekuensi atau banyaknya getaran tiap detik. Makin besar frekuensi, makin tinggi nadanya.
c. Panjang nada merupakan lama suatu nada dibunyikan. Dan dihitung dengan satuan ketuk yang sifatnya relatif, bisa panjang bisa pendek
d. Warna nada adalah jenis suara yang dihasilkan. Yang tergantung pada sumber bunyi, resonator (ruang gema), dan cara memainkan sumber bunyinya.
3. unsur dari teknik vokal yaitu teknik Artikulasi dan teknik pernafasan. Sedangkan dalam pernafasan dibagi lagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu pernafasan dada, perut, dan diafragma.
4. jenis suara terbagi dua, yaitu :
a. suara wanita dewasa, contoh dari suara wanita seperti. Sopran (tinggi), Messo sopran (sedang), dan Alto (rendah)
b. suara pria dewasa, contoh dari suara pria seperti. Tenor (tinggi), Bariton (sedang) dan, Bass (rendah)
