How can you keep up in the world of music from your country of origin even if you've been stuck in the USA for the past 10 years

How you doing? I am a Russki young man who moved to America looking for better life. In Russia I've never been wealthy, and certainly not near the middle class. I was filthy poor. Not me, per-say, but my family. As an adult in Russia the money wasn't an option. We had to come up with ways to earn money. There were numerous methods. Most of them looked like alcoholics who asked their friends for a few dollars to buy their vodka bottle. The principle is the same. We would look for fast money to buy bread or go to work. We always had food cravings..

So I finally made it to America. There's nothing quite like New York City, Brooklyn, Brighton Beach. It's a city which reminds me of my hometown. It's noisy filthy, smells like Russia, and the people there are rude. There is a lot to do, including visiting Russian music venues and bookshops.
Music and books are among my favorite things. There is now a way to access Russian literature on Kindle which is what has been happening recently. So I decided to stop purchasing books in hard copies as I don't have any space in my home. My wife is nearly an avid hoarder, and I do my best to contribute to her and that includes avoiding purchasing new stuff that I don't really need laying around the house, as I don't have a place for it... Although stacks of books looked interesting for the first few months but they grew dull and uninteresting as I realized that there was still room for my other stuff.
But music, - music is different. I love music because my job requires me to drive long distances so I have a lot of music to listen to. And as an old Russian immigrant, I haven't learned to like any new music that I have discovered in the USA.. I don't like hip hop or rap. And all the new age music that children love to dance to. I love the old Russian music, including those songs with a jail theme that are very specific to Russian music culture. These songs are still very popular in Russia after twenty years. They aren't on CDs, they're typically tapes found in cars and videos on Youtube. They put everything on Youtube nowadays. So I can spend hours on Youtube , listening to music while I'm at work or after I return after work.
And so after a while I've created a nice long playlist with over 300 songs that I truly love. The playlist is a precious trove of music I listen to on repeat each day. It has over 300 songs. However, I'm not able to find the Internet whenever I want to listen in my car. This is because I use it for navigation and driving. I prepare the songs at home. Now that I am in the middle of the list, I take some songs on Youtube and then convert them into mp3 files. Then I burn the mp3s onto an audio CD using my laptop. I then take the disc to my car and listen to it in the. This site I discovered can take an entire Youtube playlist and print all songs. Each song can then be converted to mp3 format and saved on my computer. Once you have the songs printed out, it's easy to save them onto an audio CD. Sometimes I make mistakes and create data CD. It won't play on my old car stereo. However it is possible to record audio. It's amazing to look at how technology operates. It's not necessary to log on to the internet or use any other devices to play MP3. Simply insert the CD into the car stereo and hear the Russian music booming in Manhattan.
It's easy and inexpensive to save videos from Youtube in MP3 format. You can then download them to your Smartphone. A friend of mine connected his smartphone to his car stereo , and the phone began playing high-quality sound in just a couple of seconds. Also, he was able to stream Pandora radio and Spotify and it's not even requiring a lot of Internet to stream this. This sounds like something I'd love to consider trying. However, I will make sure that I don't utilize the wifi for free.
