Top 10 floral wallpapers for a moody look
1. Malin - Sandberg
An all over design in a hand drawn sketched effect of leaves and flowers. Shown here in dark forest green, black and fuchsia pink. This reminds me of the flowers that you often see by the highway in Greece. Combine with the Isaac armchair in Dexter's linen fabric in Blossom (Sofa.com).

Best in: A dining room with Scandi inspired furniture.

2. Flowers in a vase mural - Surface View
Included in the Big, Beautiful, Dramatic Floral Wallpaper article on Apartment Therapy in March 2017, is the National Gallery 'Flowers in a Vase with Shells and Insects' mural by Surface View. See Floral Chinoiserie Wallpaper .

Best in: As shown here, a landing or home entrance for first impressions.

3. Leaves Wallpaper Mural - House of Hackney
This is a brand that keeps increasing in value. Their fabrics are really high quality and their quirky patterns are gaining a loyal following. "Artemis" is a paper shows a trailing stylised floral design with a victorian feel. Inspired by William Morris and Diana Vreeland's iconic Garden in Hell living room.

Chinoiserie Bird Flower Wallpaper in: Living room teamed with velvet.
4. Gypsy by Petronella Hall (£96 per roll)
A beautiful flamboyant rose design, with large scale watercolour style flowers, set against a geometric pattern of rings / circles. Shown here in the bold white on peacock blue.

5. Emeline - Clarke & Clarke
A large scale, bold, multi-coloured floral bouquet, with a hand-painted effect. Shown in the pinks and blues on a dark ebony black background. We like the dark background which is trendy and the fact that you can pick any of the colours - light blue, cream, white, pink or red for your furniture.

Best in: A colourful living room with a sofa in any of the above colours.

6. Paradise - Little Greene
Uk based Little Greene are known for colourful papers with intense colours. Dark Floral Deisgn Wallpaper is one of our favourite and we used it in an alternative colour way in this project. In the Ebony colour, it sits perfectly within our collection of moody florals. Buy it here.

Best in: a dining room

7. Midnight Garden mural - House of Hackney
A stunning midnight English garden all rose design – shown in the pinks and cream on a deep black background. This is a mural so preferably use it as an accent wall paper. Get it here.

Best in: bedroom behind the bed or in the dining room.

8.New Bond Street Hide - Little Greene
Another moody gem from Little Greene, it is based on one of the oldest surviving documents in English Heritage’s wallpaper archive, this fragment from an embossed leather wall hanging actually predates wallpaper. Panels of embossed and painted leather, usually with a floral pattern, were popular, though expensive, modes of decoration in the late 16th and 17th centuries.

These panels were sewn together to create large-scale decorative hangings, much in the same way that drops of wallpaper are hung side-by-side to create a much more impressive statement. Buy it here.
Vintage Wallpaper in: this is totally a dining room wallpaper as it is rather busy (so you don't want to be looking at it all day) and it also has red hues (which are great in dining spaces!).

9. Snow Tree by Colefax and Fowler

A great option if you want to show off some classic pieces of art or furniture and one that would look amazing with a sofa covered in check cloth! Get it here.

Best in: the living room, the living room!

10. Romantic Silver Floral wall mural
Inspired by botanicals and natural landscapes, Jessica Wilde combines photography, illustration and painting with digital experimentation to creative evocative and expressive artworks. Peony Floral Wallpaper against an abstract background that moves from hints of bronze through to soft greys and mute greens.
