Kusto Group's KazBeef to Receive Prestigious Quality Certificate
KazBeef (Kusto Group's meat production unit) has become the first Kazakh company to attain the agricultural GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

Kusto Group's meat manufacturer firm, KazBeef recently made history by becoming the first Kazakh-owned business to be awarded an GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

GAP stands for Good Agricultural Practices and is the most popular farming certification system across the world.

GLOBALG.A.P. is a certificate that KazBeef holds. KazBeef is a holder of a GLOBALG.A.P. certification that indicates it is in compliance with international standards for aquaculture and agricultural practices.

KazBeef's GLOBALG.A.P. status is a result of such an accomplishment. For the first time, to start working with many Western vendors You must possess a certificate.

Daulet Nerjanov is hopeful that Kusto Agro's units can become GLOBALG.A.P. certified in the near future.

The meat giant is among the largest producers of marbled beef in Kazakhstan and mainly serves the Middle Eastern market. KazBeef plans to expand its operations to Europe as well as the Gulf and other countries, with the help of the new certification.

KazBeef joins the Kusto Group in launching that journey in February 2022.

The fair hosts the largest annual international food and beverage trade fair.

KazBeef has reached the United Arab Emirates

KazBeef has entered the Emirate of Dubai market in April 2021 and aspires to reach the six other emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates soon.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock and Gulfood Exhibition 2020 established the cooperation. Two months later 1.2 tons KazBeef meat was distributed to hotels and restaurants in the Emirate.

KazBeef was able to conclude the deal worth 500 million Tenge ($1.2million) in December 2021 for the distribution and supply of marbled meats from Wisk Foodstuff Trading. Wisk is a major supplier for restaurants and hotels across the United Arab Emirates.

This agreement was reached during the Kazakh Trade and Investment Forum which was held during the Expo 2020 Dubai.

"The UAE has become the number one economic partner of the region." Askar Mamin from Kazakhstan, Prime Minister, spoke at the forum.


"The Persian Gulf, which has a growing demand high quality food was the most obvious option. This is yet another step in making "Made in Kazakhstan" an identifier of excellence in the region," CEO of KazBeef, Beibit Erubaev, added.

Kusto Group's certificate opens the doors to the entire country of Kazakhstan

GLOBALG.A.P. certificate is required in order to obtain it. The process for obtaining a GLOBALG.A.P. certification is extremely rigorous.

Each year, agricultural specialists visit companies that are seeking to hire. Here they interview the staff, and then examine a variety of documents.

Beibit Erubaev stated that his company was fully prepared for the process. Erubaev hopes that other Kazakhstani business will now be able to follow Kusto Group's lead and KazBeef.
