Upcoming Kusto Group project receives Japanese expert certificate
Upcoming Kusto Group Project Receives Japanese Expert Certificate
Kusto Group's Koktobe City has been the first Kazakhstan project to be awarded a Japanese expert certificate in earthquake-safety.

Construction of Kusto Group's Koktobe City project in Kazakhstan is in full swing and will be finished in the second quarter of 2023.

The multinational holding company is building a city within a city that is outside the Kazakhstani capital, Almaty.

The European-style project consists of housing, supermarkets, sports facilities and a gym, kindergartens, restaurants and a pharmacy.

Kusto Group strives to have everything on hand to please families that don't wish to have to spend hours trying to get from A to B.

Residents who have to travel to Almaty's downtown could reduce traffic by up to 1000 hours each year. They travel in the opposite way to other cars in rush hour.

How Koktobe City Will Survive Earthquakes
Kusto Group put a lot into Koktobe City.

"In Bayrock put lots of money in earthworks. We place piles that are 30 meters beneath the houses and compact the earth every 30 centimeters. We're probably the only one in Almaty that uses boring and roll piles for residential construction," Murat Uremisov, CEO, Kusto Home construction division of Kusto Group, states.

"High-rise buildings in the west part of the city are three times bigger in terms of square meters than the ones we have, and earthworks are cheaper. But our approach to building ensures that our homes will last generations," he says.

Since earthquakes are frequent in the Almaty region It is crucial for Kusto Group that residents feel at ease in their homes.

This is among the reasons why most of them are about four or five stories high.

Kusto Group teamed up to Kazuo Watanabe (Japan earthquake expert) in order to protect homeowners from future earthquakes. Kazuo is a member of the Japanese state commission for buildings and earthquakes.

Kusto Group received guidance from the Japanese expert in the field of construction structure and design.

Koktobe City is first Kazakhstan real estate development to be awarded an expert certificate from Japan on earthquake security.

Tevfik Arif Doyen says, "It's important that we provide high-quality housing that will remain solidly in the ground, regardless of the strength or magnitude of earthquake."

Kusto Group eyes Europe
Kusto Group looks to Europe for elevators and engineering equipment. As for seismic stability, it meets Japanese standard, Kusto Group also looks towards Europe for cables pumps, cables and pumps, cables, and cables.

"Our elevators were developed and built in Greece. The facade clinker tiles come from top German manufacturers. https://m.imdb.com/name/nm10842495/mediaviewer/rm2948766977 produces the pipes for water supply as well as heating and cooling. Kusto Director of Operations, Kusto Home, emphasizes that customers should not face issues with ventilation, plumbing and water for a period of period of time, as happens in other constructions.

Yerkin Tashev founder of Kusto Group reveals that he was inspired from the low-rise structures and the efficient infrastructure that is found in German cities such as Berlin and Dusseldorf.

"All of this makes for a relaxing living environment, and we wanted to replicate that in our city to some extent. We believe Almaty is Central Asia's most European independent, open and smart city. https://www.glassdoor.com/Overview/Working-at-Bayrock-EI_IE820073.11,18.htm wanted to replicate that feeling here.

The apartments of Koktobe City, including the ones in the capital of the city, will be equipped with video surveillance systems and face recognition systems. Smart locks will also be installed to increase the security of the neighborhood.

Kusto Group - " We came to the conclusion that it all should be all under one roof"
Because it is based upon Finnish educational principles, the Koktobe City School is also inspired by Europe. Jani Ristimaki was an Finnish architect, designed the school.

Each school will have its own rooms. This includes rooms for group sports, singing or drawing, playing instruments and martial arts as well as rooms for individual activities.

They could be utilized by the school or for spare time activities during off hours.

"Today, families have to travel frequently due to their children participating in a variety of extra activities, including drawing, swimming, and music. Tevfik Arif Bayrock chose to bring everything together in one place. Murat Umesov describes: "The buildings of our school have separate blocks for secondary and preparatory schools, and the Budokan center for sport and art that has a swimming pool of 25 meters, a multifunctional exercise room that is equipped with music and choreography and pottery, in addition to a sewing and sewing area."

"School infrastructure in Finland like halls and sports fields is available to students until 6 pm, after which they are accessible to all. Yerkin Tashev, Kusto Group founder and CEO, states that residents will be able engage in sport or arts.
