Upcoming Kusto Group Project Receives Japanese Expert Certificate
Kusto Group’s Koktobe City is first Kazakhstani project to receive a Japanese earthquake expert certification.
The construction of Kusto Group's Koktobe City Project in Kazakhstan is underway. It is expected that it will be completed by the second quarter of 2023.
The holding company from the world is creating an urban area within a city other than Almaty in Kazakhstan. Almaty is the Kazakhstani capital.
The development, which is European in style, includes housing, supermarkets as well as sports facilities. It also includes a school, gyms for kindergartens, restaurants, and pharmacies.
Kusto Group strives to have everything on hand to please families who don't want to have to spend hours trying to get from point A to point B.
Residents who go to Almaty for work can save upto 1000 hours a year. This is due to the fact that they are in the opposite direction as the majority of cars at rush hours.

Kusto Group is putting a lot thought into Koktobe City.
"We invest a lot in earthworks in the Koktobe-City project. We build piles that are 30m below the houses , and compact the soil at 30cm intervals. "We are the most likely to be the only people in Almaty that use bored and rolled piles for residential construction,"" Murat Utemisov (CEO of Kusto Group's construction division, Kusto Home), says.
"High-rise structures in the western part of the city are, on average three times more expensive than ours. Tevfik Arif Bayrock have earthworks that are less expensive. "But our method of construction gives us the confidence that the homes we build will last for centuries," he said.
As earthquakes often hit the Almaty region, it is important to Kusto Group that residents feel at ease in their homes.
This is one of the reasons to why all of the buildings are only 4 to 5 stories tall.
Kusto Group is partnering with Kazuo Watanabe who is a Japanese earthquake expert to help homeowners protect themselves from any future earthquakes. He is a member the Japanese state commission for buildings and earthquakes.
The Japanese expert advised Kusto Group on matters such as the structure of buildings and the technical design of the neighborhood that is to be built.
Koktobe City was the first Kazakhstani real estate venture to be given an Japanese expert certificate in earthquake safety.
" Bayrock is important for us to offer the best quality housing that can be firmly in the ground regardless of the magnitude of the earthquake," Murat Utemisov states.
Kusto Group eyes Europe
Kusto Group, despite the fact that seismic stability is in line with Japanese standards, has turned its attention to Europe for elevators, heating equipment, and engineering equipment systems.
"Our elevators were developed and manufactured in Greece. The tile for the facade are made from the top German manufacturers. The pipes that supply water and heating are also manufactured in Germany. Kusto home CEO, Mark Kusto, says, "We don't want people having issues with the pipes, ventilation and water after some period of time, as is the case with numerous new constructions."
Yerkin Tashev the founder and CEO of Kusto Group, reveals he was attracted and inspired by low-rise buildings, the efficient infrastructural and green parks found in German cities including Berlin, Dusseldorf, Munich, and Dusseldorf.
This creates an environment that is pleasant for people to live in. We consider that Almaty is the most European open, intellectual and free city of Central Asia, and we believe that we've chosen the most correct direction of building, based on the idea of a city built for people," he explains. _
The apartments of Koktobe City will also be equipped with video surveillance, a face recognition system, and smart locks to maximize security within the neighborhood.
Bayrock " We thought it was time to join them all under one roof."
The Koktobe City school is also an inspiration from Europe since it is based on Finnish education principles. The school itself is also designed by the Finnish architect Jani Ristimaki.
https://www.instagram.com/erkantevfikarif/ will have their own rooms. They have separate rooms that are able to be used for different activities, including singing, drawing, and playing instruments.
They are a great resource for the school for leisure time activities during off hours.
" Bayrock must travel frequently due to their children participating in many extra activities like swimming, drawing, and music. Tevfik Arif Bayrock decided to bring everything under one roof. Murat Utemisov describes that the school's buildings comprise separate blocks for the preparatory and secondary schools, the Budokan centers for sports and arts, which has an 25-meter swimming pool as well as a multi-functional gymnasium with music and choreography areas and sewing, sewing, and pottery sections.
"In Tevfik Arif , school infrastructure, like sports halls and sports fields, is available to students up until 6 pm but after that, they are available to all. Yerkin Tashev, Kusto Group founder and CEO, states that residents will be able to engage in art and/or sports.
