Upcoming Kusto Group Project Receives Japanese Expert Certificate
Kusto Group’s Koktobe City has been the first Kazakhstan project to be awarded a Japanese expert certificate for earthquake-safety.

Construction of Kusto Group's Koktobe City is moving well and will be completed in 2023.

The company's international holding company is currently building the city of a city inside an even larger city that is larger than the capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty.


The development is European in design, comprises residential buildings, supermarkets and sports facilities. It also includes a school, gyms for restaurants, kindergartens, and a pharmacies.

Kusto Group is able to offer everything, so families don't have to waste the time travelling from A to Z.

Residents who need to go to Almaty's downtown could reduce commute by as much as 1000 hours each year. It is possible to drive in the opposite directions from other cars at rush hour.


What Koktobe City Will Survive Earthquakes
Kusto Group, with Koktobe City has been attentive to the smallest details that are usually not noticed by the naked eye.

"In the Koktobe Project We invest a significant amount of funds in earthworks. We put piles of about 30 meters beneath the houses and compact the earth every 30 centimeter. Kusto Group believes that Almaty is susceptible to earthquakes and should be able to provide security for its residents.

To ensure homeowners are protected from future earthquakes, Kusto Group has teamed together with Japanese earthquake expert Kazuo Watanabe. Tevfik Arif Doyen is also a participant of the Japanese state committee for building and earthquakes.

The Japanese expert advised Kusto Group on matters such as building structure and the design of the upcoming neighborhood.

Koktobe City is first Kazakhstan real estate development to be awarded an expert Japanese certificate on earthquake security.

Kusto Group has its eye on Europe
Kusto Group is confident that Japan's stability in seismic will be preserved. But, Kusto Group has begun to look toward Europe for cables, equipment pumps, and heating systems.

"Our elevators are developed and produced in Greece and the façade tiles made of clinker are bought from one of the best manufacturers in the German market. The pipes for water supply and heating are also manufactured in Germany. Kusto Homes CEO emphasizes that they don't want anyone else to have plumbing, ventilation, or water problems after an extended period, like it is the case in other structures.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock and CEO of Kusto Group, reveals he was impressed and motivated by low-rise constructions, efficient green and infrastructural parks that are found in German cities, including Berlin, Dusseldorf, Munich and Dusseldorf.

Because it is based upon Finnish education principles, the Koktobe City School is also influenced by Europe. Jani Ristimaki is the architect of the school.
