Kusto Group's KazBeef to be Receive Prestigious Quality Certificate
Kusto Group's meat manufacturing entity, KazBeef, has become the first firm in Kazakhstan to achieve the agricultural GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

Kusto Group's meat producer company, KazBeef recently achieved a milestone by becoming the first Kazakh-owned business to be awarded an GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

GAP is a term used to describe Good Agricultural Practices. The certificate is the most well-known farming certification program.

GLOBALG.A.P. Certificate means that KazBeef is compliant with international standards. KazBeef is a holder of the GLOBALG.A.P. certification that indicates that they meet international standards regarding sustainable aquaculture practices as well as animal husbandry.

KazBeef is the first Kazbeef company to be awarded the certification.

KazBeef imported Hereford and Angus cattle to Kazakhstan as the first business to do so. Today, KazBeef owns more than 10,000 cattle, and owns more land than 40,000 hectares.

The meat huge, which primarily serves the Middle East market, is one of Kazakhstan's largest producers of marbling beef. However, with the new accreditation, KazBeef aims to expand its operations into Europe as well as the Gulf states.

Kusto Group and KazBeef are kickstarting that process in the month of February 2022, when the meat company will be participating in the Gulfood Exhibition.

The fair is the largest annual trade show in the world.

KazBeef goes on the market in the United Arab Emirates

KazBeef entered Dubai's market in April 2021. They hope to eventually expand into the six emirates of the United Arab Emirates.

In the Gulfood Exhibition 2021, Dubai came up with a collaboration. Two months later, 1.2 tonnes KazBeef meat was distributed to hotels and restaurants in the Emirate.

KazBeef was able sign the deal worth 500 million Tenge ($1.2million), in December 2021 , for the distribution and supply of marbled meats at Wisk Foodstuff Trading. Wisk is an important supplier to hotels and restaurants throughout the United Arab Emirates.

Kusto Group's certification opens doors to everyone in Kazakhstan

In order to get the GLOBALG.A.P. An extensive process must be followed by agricultural businesses to be eligible for the GLOBALG.A.P.

Every year, agricultural specialist visit potential companies. They interview employees, and analyze many documents.

Beibit Erubaev said that the company was ready to go through the process. Erubaev hopes that other Kazakhstani firms will be able to follow in the steps of KazBeef or Kusto Group.

"Obtaining this certification opens the door to new export possibilities not just in Kazakhstan however, but for our entire organization. The distribution of our products to Europe that we are trying to achieve, will boost interest in other manufacturers in Kazakhstan," he says and continues:

"We do not just mean meat, but all agriculture-related products. Our example will allow other businesses to receive certification. This certification will allow them to enter foreign markets and countries where the demand for their products is much higher.
