Thank you for your kind attention to our recent request for assistance. We spoke to James in your Fraud Team and informed him that the fee of $94.99 to McAfee on 4/13/15 was not made by us. We tried to get a refund from McAfee, but found their business practices to be questionable. They requested our permission to enter our computer system so they could refund our monies. We denied their request and contacted Citicards immediately for assistance.
We placed a stop to any future payments to McAfee. Consequently, the charge of $94.99 is in dispute and under investigation. We also cancelled our Citicards credit cards and ordered a new set. This new card will also have a stop to any automatic payments to McAfee.
So that our credit is not affected, we issued a minimum payment of $25.00 while the dispute is under investigation.
We are so grateful to be dealing with Citicards, a professional and ethical business with whom we have been associated since 1990. Thank you again for all the assistance and peace of mind you have provided us.
