How do you stay up to date in the world of music from your country of origin even when you've been living in the USA for the last 10 years

What do you do? I am an 18-year-old Russki man who moved to America in search of a better life. In Russia I wasn't wealthy nor was I in the middle class. It's not me, per-say. However, my family. Russia was a country where young adults did not need money when they were growing to adulthood. So, we had to come up with new ways to earn money. Many schemes exist, most of which are similar to alcoholics asking for money from their neighbors to buy their shared vodka bottle. This is almost the same that we used to explore ways to earn dollars quickly to purchase an entire loaf of bread. We always had food cravings.

So I finally made it to America I've and have been here for some time and seen the entire East Coast from Boston all the way down to Miami and Key West and all the up to the middle states. There's nothing quite as beautiful as New York City, Brooklyn, Brighton Beach. It's a place that brings me back to my hometown. It's noisy, filthy, there's a lot of Russian language everywhere, and the people are rude - it's just typical Russian city life. I spent a lot of money in Russia, mostly for Russian restaurants, bookstores and music stores.

Books and music are two of my favourite things. It was discovered recently it is possible to find Russian literature on Kindle. And so I stopped buying hard copy books as I don't have much space in my home, and my wife is a bit of a hoarder, so I try my best not to contribute to it, including avoiding buying new stuff which I don't actually have to store in the house, since I have nowhere to put it... Stacks of books looks intelligent for a while, but then they looked sad, until I moved them into the garage, which has plenty of space left to store my belongings..

However, music is something else. My job involves lots of driving, so I have a lot of music. Since I'm an Russian citizen, there's no way that I would like new music from the USA. I'm not a huge fan of rap, hip-hop, metal, rock, or pop. I don't also like the latest hip-hop and pop music that kids love to dance too. I really enjoy old Russian music, and also the Russian music that is jail-like. They are still popular in Russia even after 20 years. They don't get on CDs. They are mostly tapes in cars and YouTube videos. https://mp3.lol/ Youtube currently has all the details. YouTube is my preferred music website. I use it every day when I'm at home or at work.

After a while I was able build a long playlist of over 300 songs , which I truly enjoy. Since I have this precious collection and can quickly be accustomed to listening to music. 300 songs is quite a bit. The issue is that I'm not able to find the Internet when I want them to listen in my car. This is because I use it for navigation and driving. Therefore, I prepare at home. I'm now in the middle. I record a few songs on Youtube as mp3 files. Then I burn the MP3s onto a CD using my computer. Next I drive the CD to my car and listen. This website I found allows me to download an entire Youtube playlist and print the entire playlist. Each song can be converted into mp3 and stored on my personal computer. Then you are able to transfer the file to an audio-CD. Sometimes I'll make a mistake and make a dataCD. Then it's easy to transfer it onto audio CD. However, when the audio is recorded - it's incredible how technology works. I don't even need to be online, I don't need any gadgets to play mp3, I just put the CD in my car stereo and there the music from Russia is blasting throughout Manhattan at the time I get there as I drive around.

It is simple and cheap for you to copy Youtube videos to mp3 and then save them to your Smartphone. One of my friends connected his smartphone to the car stereo. The music was playing with excellent audio in just two seconds. It doesn't require a lot of Internet to stream Spotify or Pandora radio. I'm thinking of trying this in the next.. Of course, I'll be sure to use free WiFi.
