A Fan Tan Strategy Guide
Fan Tan is a rapidly increasing member of the Strictly speaking deck. It's played under a variety of other names too, including Card Dominoes, Parliament, Sevens and Scrabble. It is very loved in India where it is played with the name Sattva pe Satti (seven on seven). If you've seen an event of American Bingo, you're acquainted with the rules. If not, here's an easy overview: all players receive seven cards in a row from the dealer. The player who lands on an "X" in the space that's adjacent to dealer's face is declared to be the "king". The player has the freedom to place his cards however they like, but must remain in the same spot.

The other seven players all take turns drawing from the same stack. The king is not holding any cards, therefore they draw. If there are more than two players in a Fan Tan game, then the game will end in a Single Tag session. The winner of the game is the last remaining player.
