You should bring a laptop, tablet or, sometimes, an iPhone with videos to camp with your children.

This is something I have learned the hard and painful way. My mother has been on my back all week, telling me to plan this and to keep that in mind. My excitement about going on my first camping trip, with my grandchildren and my kids was the only thing I shared with my mom. Now, she is all over me, offering advice and suggestions on every possible scenario. I do not mind my mom's speaking. Even listening to her lectures makes things uncomfortable. Therefore, I attempted to finish it more quickly than I was supposed to. I made a terrible mistake and learned that the next day or two was my fault.

We set off in the car, intending to bring it all back to the campsite. I wanted to recreate the rural experience I shared with my dad back in the day so I decided to go to one of the most remote spots. It turned out that it was not located in an area where service was available. Our smartphones were out-of-service and we were basically the only camping in the area. Don't blame me I was expecting a great time off work, 3 days out there in the nature in the wilderness, enjoying nature.. Then we were back in the car on the way back to the home after 24 hours of the camping trip..

What was the situation? We didn't have bars or Internet access We had nothing. I had brought my laptop along with some online games. It was just impossible to get it out the bags. I had prepared a backdrop for the trees to let them see the projector that I carried with my laptop. I couldn't access Hulu or Netflix and it was hard to bear their presence. They wanted to check their emails, read their texts, keep track of school and more. I was sick of it and took the car to the return trip. My children made sounds that resembled to little piglets munching delicious food as they emerged from the WiFi-free zone. I do love my kids. That was just embarrassing. They groaned and squealed when their phones started to sound, alerting them to new text messages.

Since then, I have been able to prepare myself and not to get trapped in an area with no roaming. While on an extended boat ride towards our destination, I found myself in need of my two best friends with two tablets and laptop. They included Hulu streaming video on one side, Netflix movies, and shows on the other. The laptop has music videos as well with some films that I downloaded to watch later using Hulu and Netflix apps through the Windows app store. I've got about 600 hours of materials to enjoy, which includes all of the South Park, Friends, and Will & Grace seasons.

There are many videos of kids laughing, which is why I downloaded some Youtube videos. Some of the videos were converted into MP3 and/or mp4 formats. I utilized this application to download some videos. It lets me save the video on my laptop so that I can then view it offline, providing that I have power. I record a lot of movies, TV shows, and Online Lectures. These videos I save as MP4 on my laptop. Later I just play them with VLC, KMP, or almost any other video format which supports 4K.

4k is another thing I insist upon. Have you ever watched? Video is crystal clear. It's truly amazing. I would highly recommend. There's a great program available on new TVs which support 4K image. It processes the image and enhances it. It also and then upscales it and makes it more appealing. The TV can transform old video into something so much more. Highly recommended to all young and old!
