I went for an easy walk along the beach. It was nothing special. It was a typical northern Balinese volcanic sand beach. The few hawkers kept their distance once again. I was able observe fishing boats at sea as the sun set behind them and a young man making his prayer offering, while he sat cross-legged.

Bali is a great location for a beach vacation, with many resorts. Indonesia is home to some of the most beautiful coral reefs on the planet. Be aware that you may not be able to swim all year round here so if that's something you'd like to do, make sure you take a look at when there might be any marine stingers (like jellyfish). Most resorts have a wonderful pool that you can swim in or just relax around. Bali is also know for great spa services. This area is worth a look if you are looking for a great spa vacation at a reasonable price.
