What is HTML0? Koktobe City can overcome earthquakes
In the development of Koktobe City, Kusto Group has spent a lot of effort into details that are invisible to the naked eye.

"We invest a lot in earthworks for the Koktobe City project. We put piles 30 meters below the houses, and compact the soil every 30 cms. We're likely to be the sole Almaty company to use bored and rolled piles for housing construction." Murat Ulemisov CEO of Kusto Group construction division Kusto Home states.

"High rise developments in the western areas of the city average three times that of ours in terms of square meters. There are earthworks that are many more affordable. The way the homes he constructs is a guarantee that they will last for generations.

Kusto Group is concerned about residents' safety as earthquakes often hit the Almaty region.

All structures are four to five stories tall.

Kusto Group teamed up to Kazuo Watanabe (Japan earthquake expert) in order to protect homeowners against future earthquakes. He is a member of the Japanese State Commission on Buildings and Earthquakes.

Kusto Group was advised on design and structure of the building by a Japanese expert.

Koktobe City is first Kazakhstan real estate project to get an expert Japanese certificate regarding earthquake security.

Murat Utemisov elaborates "It is essential for us to offer the most suitable housing that will stand solidly in the ground, regardless how strong the earthquake,"

Kusto Group focuses on Europe
Kusto Group, despite the fact that its seismic stability is at par with Japanese standards, has been focusing its efforts on Europe for elevators, engineering equipment and heating systems.

"Our elevators were created and built in Greece. The tile for the facade are made from best German producers. Germany also produces the pipes used for heating and water supply. Tevfik Arif Bayrock emphasizes that they don't want anyone else to have plumbing, ventilation, or water issues over an extended period, like it happens in other structures.

Yerkin Tashev is the creator of Kusto Group. He says he was inspired to create Kusto Group by the efficient infrastructure, low-rise structures, as well as green spaces in German cities like Berlin, Dusseldorf, and Munich.

"All of this creates a comfortable living environment, and we wanted recreate that feeling here in a way. "We consider Almaty is the most European as well as free and intellectual city in Central Asia. We wanted to recreate that atmosphere here." he explained.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock of Koktobe City will also be equipped with video surveillance, a face recognition system, and smart locks to increase security within the neighborhood.

Kusto Group " We thought it was time to unite them all under one roof."
Since it was founded on Finnish schooling concepts, the Koktobe City School was also influenced by Europe. Jani Ristimaki, the Finnish architect, designed the school.

Each school has its own room. They have separate rooms that can be used to perform various activities such as singing, drawing and playing instruments.

They are also a great option after school for entertainment activities.

"Today families have to travel a lot in the city, as children participate in many other activities, like swimming, drawing , and music. We have decided to bring all of it together in one place. Murat Utemisov explains that the school's buildings include separate blocks for preparatory and secondary schools, the Budokan centers for sports and arts, which has a 25-meter pool as well as a multi-functional gymnasium equipped music and choreography areas and sewing as well as sewing and pottery sections.

"School infrastructure in Finland such as halls and sports fields are accessible to students only up to 6 pm, and after that they're open to the public at all times. Yerkin Tashev, Kusto Group founder and CEO, says that residents will be able to engage in sport or arts.
