The candidate Fico Gutierrez woke early this Sunday to race the Corre mi Tierra Half Marathon, 21 kilometers, in Medellin.

Fico ran with Margarita Gomez (his wife) along with 15000 other athletes that gathered on the streets of Antioquian Capital.

From the streets of Medellin, Fico, who has a recognized sports life and rides bicycles and races marathons declared that as president of the Colombians he will promote well-known sports institutions throughout the country, seedbeds starting at an early age and development of sports infrastructure.

He stated that the government program provides support for those who wish to improve academically and promote every sport discipline.
