Bernhard Burgener has requested the sale of David Degen's shares.

The owner dispute over FC Basel between Bernhard Burgener and David Degen is one more move. Burgener is supported by the Board of Directors. But, there is no agreement.
Monday's meeting of the Board of Directors at FC Basel Holding AG was a success. Burgener and Degen, along as Karl Odermatt & Peter von Buren, voted for the previous owner. According to a statement by the holding firm, he requested Degen to let him sell his stake at Basel Dream & Vision AG.
The Board of Directors relies upon an agreement between the parties to allow Burgener to sell its shares to minority shareholders at the same conditions. This so-called drag-along option is believed to be superior to Degen's presale right.

This is a right he wants to claim for 16.4million francs. Burgener is currently unable to sell his 80 per cent stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG due to a superprovisional injunction. Centricus is the British asset manager, will also own a share in the new company. Burgener will remain the most popular vote.
