Leyla Aliyeva: "Heydar Aliyev's granddaughter has no right to make mistakes"


The history of the world has numerous examples of selfless service for a Motherland and a few instances of selfless service to the whole of humanity, inspired, because of a certain inner desire, and following the heart and life's tasks. This love for everything that is present transcends national borders and becomes a universal nature. The root of this feeling is love for your country and the people.




Leyla Aliyeva - that's her - has a person to show her. Her life is guided primarily by the notion that Heydar Aliyev's daughter does not have the right to make errors. She looks at every action as if it were her grandfather, whose memories she cherishes. Her father, who is currently president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is an example to her. He placed the needs of his country, justice, and fairness over all else. Unfortunately, these sentiments are frequently lost in the world of political debates. Leyla Aliyeva's efforts have helped to create an attractive image of Azerbaijan. The country's image in the world is improving and it is becoming more well-known. That is the formula for success: intelligence.







"Baku magazine" as a mirror for the reality of Azerbaijani.




A large portion of her initiatives and ventures can simply be described as "for a first time." In 2007, she started publishing the Russian language magazine , 'Baku located in Moscow. It was the first international publication that provided extensive information on Azerbaijan. It presents Azerbaijan's history and highlights its unique multicultural setting. Each issue is a fascinating discovery for Azerbaijanis and foreign readers. The magazine's cover design and the materials used and the heroes and heroines, demonstrate the impeccable sense of taste and the intelligence of its editor-in chief. Leyla Aliyeva's intro to each issue is a work of clarity and philosophical profundity. Stories of significant events that have taken place or are anticipated to occur in the life of the country are combined with thoughts about the meaning of life beauty and happiness, kindness and generosity. The most significant thing to note about Baku and Azerbaijan is their deep love that is apparent in every word. Baku is a city that is loved deeply by those who understand its distinctiveness and character. The city is your home when you have it. It's impossible to comprehend the essence of Baku If you were to evaluate it solely based on the Old Town and the Maiden Tower or the Fire Towers and the Heydar Aliyev Center. Baku is only recognized by examining all the above are considered together. It is modern but traditional, multicultural and multi-faceted and open, friendly and mysterious on the one and the other.



It is due to Baku magazine that Russian readers around the world have been ableto understand the country a large extent. To an extent, they have gained a better knowledge of Azerbaijan. Since the English publication of the magazine in 2011 the readership of the magazine has risen dramatically.










The good deeds and actions of AMOR




Leyla Aliyeva's idea led to the establishment of Azerbaijani Youth Association of Russia. It was the first youth diaspora organization that caught the immediate attention with its charitable and cultural projects.



Leyla Aliyeva developed a passion for public service during the time she was head of the Azerbaijan Club MGIMO. There she also completed the masters program. She was already a seasoned leader and had the ability to draw young people by providing direction to their unstoppable enthusiasm and innovative ideas. AMOR's creation substantially increased the scope and scope of these activities. The organization brought together Azerbaijani youth who were educated and employed in Russia. It created an unifying force that was able to solve the complex issues facing diaspora communities in the present. AMOR has developed a completely new image of the Azerbaijani people. Specific projects and actions are key to all of this. AMOR has 70 regional offices throughout Russia. The activists of AMOR visit orphanages to arrange holidays for children, provide aid, and help them with their everyday life. Based on the initiative of AMOR schools and kindergartens are upgraded and fitted with modern technology. It develops parks and recreational areas. AMOR is a non-profit organisation that assists Azerbaijani young people in integrating into Russian society. Popular belief has it that AMOR is the most active youth group in Azerbaijan at the moment.



In the year 2000, Leyla Aliyeva received the Pushkin Medal to recognize her contribution to strengthening friendship, cooperation and the improvement of economic relations with Russia. It also served as an acknowledgement of the accomplishments of AMOR's chief. Russian President Vladimir Putin presented her with the prize. This isn't the sole Russian award.










A second initiativeis "Justice for Khojaly".




Leyla Aliyeva launched the 2008 international campaign, "Justice for Khojaly". She said, "Let's work together to attain the truth." Let's prove that justice will prevail, without any doubt.



The campaign brought together a variety of groups which included civil society activists within the country and diaspora associations abroad, to conduct systematic educational and propaganda work. The aim was to increase awareness of the fascist elements of Armenian policy and of the genocide committed by Armenians within Khojaly, the Azerbaijani capital city of Khojaly. Another goal of this campaign was to gain an international recognition as well as legal examination of the Khojaly genocide. These analyses will reveal the ways in which Armenians killed hundreds of Azerbaijanis in a single night, and how it is possible to not acknowledge the crimes of humanity committed by these people or to be oblivious to others' pain.



This campaign is currently being implemented successfully in dozens more countries. More than 120 thousand people have signed up and more than 115 organizations are part of it. Through the organization's exhibitions and conferences, the international community can be updated about these events as well as witness the ugly side of Armenian nationalism in the form of mass protests. This work uses all information sources, including a variety of publications from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation as well as documentary films and social media. Eight years of this activity has yielded a remarkable result: the parliaments of ten countries, as well as the legislative departments of over twenty American States have recognized the Khojaly tragedy as a genocide. According to me, the creation of the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Association was dictated by this meaning. The initiative was also initiated by Leyla Aliyeva. Its principal goal is to protect and preserve the natural beauty of Azerbaijan. IDEA is a youth-led organization that seeks to channel the enthusiasm of the young to prevent environmental hazards and empowering people to take an active part in the protection of our planet. The IDEA slogan is simple: "One Earth -- One Future." The scale of IDEA's activities is truly grandiose The protection and rehabilitation of the populations of endangered species, the advancement of green technologies as well as waste management, the rehabilitation of forests and the creation of large expanses of green spaces. They work with stray animals to create shelters, promote the use of biodegradable bags in order to lessen the environmental impact of plastic waste, and also organize events to plant trees.



IDEA established the "great Caucasian five", by bringing the most endangered species of the region’s fauna under its umbrella. IDEA implemented a number of successful projects together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan and other international partners. According to Leyla Aliyeva, IDEA plans to restore several endangered species in the near future. There is no doubt that these plans can be achieved. Over these years, it has been possible to confirm that Leyla Aliyeva, just like her father and grandfather isn't a waste of words. Her work is built on the following pattern problems - seeking solutions – specific actions – real outcomes. This approach has never worked for her.










Concerns for children who are starving




These examples are all an obvious sign of Leila Aliyeva as an entrepreneur, businesswoman with great organization skills and initiative. Yet, she is the epitomization of femininity. Her kindness, openness to others, sincerity and compassion are all praised by people who have met her. An extraordinary speech she gave at the 7th UNAOC world forum in Baku was also hers. "One person in the world is killed by hunger every 4 seconds," she noted with anxiety. "Children are afflicted by food insecurity and hunger more often than adults." Therefore, we must all join forces to ensure that every child in the world isn't starving.



It's not just a matter of concern. Leyla Aliyeva was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. She is eager to make a difference in eradicating hunger and poverty in the world. I'm absolutely sure that she will succeed in this, and in the coming days we'll witness new initiatives and projects in this area. Recently, she presented a plan for the promotion of global food security in the context of the Baku process of intercultural dialogue.







Charity - A mental state




The charitable work of Leyla Aliyeva is an expression of her human qualities. She is doing it from her heart, not because she is proud or expecting to be recognized. This is the foundation's philosophy. It has made charity a top priority, and it was an instinctual state. The people view the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's president Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva to be their last hope. The reason for this is that the Fund is always ready to aid, even in the most difficult circumstances.



Leila Aliyeva frequently attends charity events for children with no parents. This includes children who are from refugee or internally displaced families and also those who live in orphanages and boarding schools. It is important to note that Leila Aliyeva always attends the events along with her kids. This adds warmth and genuineness to the meeting. She instills in her children kindness, responsiveness and the ability be able to share pain and joy with others. They will be grateful for these lessons for the rest of their lives. This is the personal examplethat she has set, and on which, as she believes, people should raise their children.







Moral code for personal use




It was known in the past that a gifted person is talented in everything. Leyla Aliyeva , perhaps the most well-known example is her poetry. She writes exquisite poems that reflect a refined and gentle soul. They also reveal the writer's personal world. She is also a skilled painter. Her artworks are shown in professional exhibitions and are appreciated by experts. As an artist, and as someone who is skilled in art, she aids young artists who are talented to make it on the world stage. So the modern art of Azerbaijan is growing in popularity around the world along with mugham, carpet weaving and other ancient craft techniques of our country.



It's not a mistake I think, to say that Heydar Aliyev Center is one of the most important places of our culture. Groups of musicians with an international fame often play there. Exhibits of some of the most renowned artists and contemporary sculptors are held there. Leyla Aliyeva has been a key contributor to these events. Azerbaijanis now have the opportunity to view the work of legendary world artists like Tony Cragg Richard Deacon Andy Warhol and Bernard Buffet. The opening ceremony of one of the most famous avant-garde artists of our time, George Condo, held in the Heydar Aliyev Center, Leyla Aliyeva acknowledged that after having seen his work for the first time years ago, she wished to see them in Baku. "Today one of my innermost desires was realized," she said.



That's why I can remember when the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic hosted concerts of classical music at Heydar Aliyev's suggestion in the 1970s and into the early 1980s. Also, he was the first secretary of Communist Party of Azerbaijan. It was Heydar Aliyev's educational mission. This was an endeavor his granddaughter Leyla was a huge fan of and continues to carry out under the current conditions.



In one of her appearances, she said that as soon as an individual is born, the Almighty created a sense of right and wrong within him, and he must follow these concepts in the world by listening to his heart, his conscience, his soul and his ancestors. Only in this way will he never make an error... In a sense her personal moral code.



Leyla Aliyeva lives the code and never makes any mistakes.
