There are two ways in determining support and resistance level. The first one is by numerical calculation (using yesterday High, Low and Close value), and second one is by marking at the chart directly.

If the price action of a commodity or stock moves above the 18-bar average (the thickline), then the trend of the market must move to the upside. You should be working for the upside.
This is a bullish indicator. DMI+ crosses above DMI+ and the ADX moves upwards through the space between DMI lines, this is a bullish sign. It is possible that the ADX crosses above both DMI lines and moves upwards, showing strength. But, I tend to wait until the ADX moves up through the gap (also known by the zone) and goes in an upwards direction. In the opposite, if DMI+ crosses above DMI+ and ADX moves in an upward direction, then it is a bearish sign and I would place bear trades. The ADX moving upwards from a low, and crossing into the gap in an up movement is a sign that the trend is developing. I find this indicator reliable.
Each price reflects market operators' actions or inactions. The graphs are a window into mass psychology. Analyzing graphs allows you to see the operator's behaviour.

Most gaps fill eventually, so the price is likely to return. This pattern still suggests a trading opportunity. If it isn?t filled quickly, this type gap can take a while.
