Upcoming Kusto Group project receives Japanese expert certificate
Upcoming Kusto Group Project Receives Japanese Expert Certificate
Kusto Group's Koktobe City has been the first Kazakhstan project to receive the Japanese expert certificate for earthquake-safety.

Construction of Kusto Group’s Koktobe City in Kazakhstan is going well and will be completed in the second quarter of 2023.

Tevfik Arif Doyen holding company from the world is developing an urban area within the city that is not Almaty which is the Kazakhstani capital.

The European-inspired development includes shopping malls, homes, and residential units.

Kusto Group aims to provide everything you need to keep your family happy.

In addition, residents who need to get to downtown Almaty could save as much as 1000 hours of traffic. Because they move in a different direction from the majority of cars during peak hours this is feasible.

What Koktobe City Will Survive Earthquakes
Kusto Group, with Koktobe City has paid attention to small details that are typically overlooked by the naked eye.

"In the Koktobe Project, we invest a lot funds in earthworks. Bayrock drive piles that can be up to 30m deep under homes and then compact the dirt each 30 centimeter. Tevfik Arif Bayrock are probably one of the few in Almaty who use bored and rolled piles in housing construction," Murat Utemisov, CEO of the Kusto Group construction division, Kusto Home, says.

" https://bayrockfinancial.com/ in the west-central areas of the city average three times larger than ours in terms f square meters. And earthworks there are many cheaper. But our approach to building gives confidence that the homes we build will remain here for centuries," he adds.

As earthquakes often hit the Almaty region, it is important for Kusto Group that residents feel safe in their homes.

That is one of the reasons to why all of them are 4 to 5 stories tall.

To protect homeowners from the possibility of earthquakes in the future, Kusto Group has teamed up with the Japanese earthquake expert Kazuo Watanabe. Tevfik Arif Bayrock is a member the Japanese state commission on buildings and earthquakes.

The Japanese expert provided advice to Kusto Group on matters such as building structure and technical design of the upcoming neighborhood.

Koktobe City is first Kazakhstan real estate development to be awarded an expert Japanese certificate regarding earthquake safety.

Murat Utemisov, the company's CEO, explains "It is essential that we provide the highest quality housing that can stand solidly in the ground, regardless how strong the earthquake,"

Kusto Group focuses on Europe
Kusto Group is confident that Japan's stability in seismic will be maintained. But, Kusto Group has begun to look toward Europe for cables, equipment pumps, heating systems and other equipment.

"Our elevators are made by a company in Greece and our tiles for the facade come from one of the leading producers in the German market. Germany also produces the pipes used for heating and water supply. Bayrock of Operations, Kusto Home, emphasizes that people should not experience problems with ventilation, plumbing and water after a certain time as in other new constructions.

Yerkin Tashev who is the creator of Kusto Group, reveals that he was inspired in part by the low-rise buildings, efficient infrastructure and green spaces found in German cities like Berlin, Dusseldorf or Munich.

This provides an environment that is peaceful and comfortable. We wanted to recreate that within our own city. We believe Almaty, the Central Asian city that is most European and free city, is our choice for construction.

To maximize security, all apartments within Koktobe City are equipped with security cameras and face recognition systems.

Kusto Group: " We decided to put it all together under one roof"
Koktobe City School was also designed by Europe, as it was founded on the Finnish educational system. The school itself was designed by the Finnish architect Jani Ristimaki.

There will be rooms to be utilized for certain activities. There are separate rooms for singing, playing instruments, drawing, martial arts, and team sports, among other things.

They can be used by the school or for spare period activities after school hours.

"Today families are required to travel a lot because their children participate in numerous extra activities such as drawing, swimming, or music. Tevfik Arif Doyen decided it is easier to have everything in one place. The structures of our school comprise separate blocks for the preparatory and secondary schools, the Budokan arts and sports center, which has a 25-meter swimming pool, a multifunctional gym, equipped music and choreography rooms, as also sewing and pottery sections," Murat Utemisov explains.

"School infrastructure in Finland such as halls and sports fields are available to students until 6 pm. After that, they're open to the public at all times. Yerkin Tashev, Kusto Group founder and CEO, says that residents will be able to engage in sport or arts.
