How do you keep up with the music of your country, even if you have lived in the USA for 10 years

What do you do? I am a Russki young man who moved to America looking for better life. I was extremely poor in Russia. I was not even near the middle class and I never had a lot of money. My family, not me per se. When I was growing up in Russia, young adults didn’t have money. So we needed to find different ways to earn money. There are many schemes available, with the majority of which are similar to alcohol addicts who ask for money from their neighbors to buy their shared vodka bottle. The idea is the same. We would look for fast money to buy bread or get to work. We were always hungry.

So, I arrived in America. There's nothing as beautiful as New York City, Brooklyn, Brighton Beach. The city is quite similar to my home. It's noisy filthy, smells like Russia, and people there are rude. I spent a lot of money in Russia, mostly for Russian restaurants and music and books shops.

I love music, and I love to read books. It was discovered recently, you can find Russian books on Kindle. And so I stopped buying hard copy books and also because I don't have much space in my house, my wife is a bit of an escapist, so I try my best not to contribute to her by not buying new items which I don't actually have to store around the house, as I don't have a place for it... Although piles and piles of books look intelligent in the beginning, as they became old they became dull and dreary. After that, I moved them into my garage.

Music is different. My job requires lots of driving, so I am constantly listening to music. Also, as a Russian native, I've not discovered a love for any of the new music I've found in the USA.. I'm not a fan of hip hop, rap metal, rock, and pop. and all the trendy stuff that kids love to dance. I really love the old Russian music, and also the songs from jail that are very specific to Russian music industry. They're still in demand throughout the years. Youtube has everything these days. And so I spend hours watching music on YouTube when I am back home from work or even after work.

After a while, I've made a lovely long playlist with over 300 songs that I absolutely enjoy. With this playlist playing that I listen to every both at night and day I'm not having any trouble becoming accustomed to music because there's 300 songs. https://jaguarbed1.bravejournal.net/post/2022/05/03/How-do-you-live-the-club-experience-without-leaving-your-home That's quite a number. However, when I want to listen to the songs in my car, I do not have access to the internet. I require it for driving and navigation. I prepare the songs at home. I'm at the top of the list. Now I record some songs on Youtube into MP3 files. Then I burn the MP3s on my computer and take the CD into my car. The site allows you to print the entire Youtube playlist, then convert every song into MP3 and save it on my computer at home. It's then easy to transfer it to audio CD. Sometimes, I'm a little naughty and just make data CD, that won't play in my car stereo. But when audio is recorded - it's amazing how technology works. I don't even need to be connected to the internet, I don't need any equipment to play mp3. I just put the CD in the car stereo slot, and the music from Russia is playing throughout Manhattan, when I get there as I drive around.

It's very easy to grab videos from Youtube and save the videos as MP3 files. Then, you can save them to your Smartphone. A friend of mine connected his smartphone to the car stereo and the phone began playing high-quality sound within less than two seconds. He also was able to stream Spotify and Pandora radio. It's not even requiring a lot of internet speed. I'm thinking this could be the next thing I'll test. However, I'll be sure not to use the free wifi.
