I enjoy listening to music from other cultures when I'm bored. It helps me feel happier.

It's true. I admit that at times when I'm feeling blue, I go on Youtube checking out random songs, or random music that is popular in different countries. Some of the songs amuse me because they'll surprise me.. Simply because different languages may sound funny to me. I'm Russian, I grew up in Russia till I turned legally old. Since then I have resided in the USA. I have learned a lot of languages. When I watch videos in other languages, it can make me laugh so hard that I have to admit it. Music is not a major factor since I'm focusing on the language and the emotions, not the music. French, Turkish Rap and Hip Hop are especially funny to me. Russian recitatives. Spanish hardrock. Chinese heavy music. While some of these might not be real, all nations and all cultures go through similar stages. This is why like music genres that are similar can be found across many nations and cultures. This is what I love..

Even so, I still enjoy many types of music, and music from many different music styles from many different cultures. This is the reason I suggest that you do it too. It's very refreshing and sometimes even hilarious.
