This question has been occupying my thoughts for quite a while. Being a U.S. citizen I've been involved in pop culture. Slippers of Dua Lipa's and Kanye west's big wife are just two examples. Pop culture is something I love and I love all the participants. I think I would be an ideal host for one of the Gossip & Hollywood gossip shows. There, hosts will reveal the intimates of the biggest stars in Hollywood. They then switch to hosts who are less popular and finish with blasts from pasts, which is a reference to appearances that haven't been seen for a while. I'd like to share all the news and rumors with passion, with love, while most current hosts just smack some information but never discuss.
Therefore, I've been trying to add music from other countries to my listening list. For the start I'm beginning to figure out what music is popular in different countries. I started with a handful of European monoliths like Germany, UK, France, Sweden, Spain, Portugal and so on. After a long time surfing Youtube, I thought that I was a pro with the ability to get all the information I wanted. However, it was not as easy as I thought. What one sees is the latest and popular music in their area, or even their country. I looked on other sites for the top 20 most-viewed Youtube videos in their respective countries. There were some that did. However, it was mostly old. Nobody wants to blog about the top 20 each week. This is something you could perform on TV. ytmp3plus Hit-parades and other things.
I persevered in my search.. After weeks of little to no success in finding a source for current, up-to date songs from other countries, I decided it was time to give up. The most effective way to connect to the Internet was using the Firefox proxy plugin (usually FF has more plugins and developers are awestruck by them and I'm sure they do). This would enable me to browse Youtube as if I was in Spain or Germany. I could not be sure of these connections, and they were slow. But, this was a feasible solution. I was irritated by the very limited number of countries, and the necessity to locate reliable sources.
It was the Top 20 Youtube videos most well-known link. It could load as many as twenty-six Youtube videos, which gave the USA chart. Surprisingly, Top 20 German trending music videos loaded.. No matter how it happens, I enjoyed the speed of delivery. It was very easy and fast.
