Hello. My project is about volume and surface area of composite figures. How do you find the volume or the surface area of a composite figure? To find the volume or the surface area of a composite figure, we must first know what a composite figure is. A composite figure is a figure or shape made up of 2 or more shapes. This is an example of a composite figure. A volume is the amount of space that a substance or object occupies, or that is enclosed within a container.To find the volume of a composite figure, you must first separate the two (or more) shapes. After separating the two shapes, you have to find the volume of it. The equation to find the volume for a prism is length x width x height. The equation find the volume of a pyramid is 1/3 (length x width x height). So after you found the volume of your first object, you have to find the volume of your 2nd object.Use the equations i told u to find the volume of the 2nd object. After you found the volume of the 2nd object, you add the volume of the 1st object to the volume of the 2nd object. The sum will be your volume of the composite figure. This is used to find how much a fish tank can hold. Now, moving on to the surface area of composite figures. A surface area is the area of the outer part. To find the surface area of a composite figure, u must first separate the figures. after separating the figures, u need to find the surface area of object 1. To find the surface area, you need to find the area of all the faces in the object. the equation for prisms, u do length x width and for pyramids, do 1/2 base x height. For cylinders do
