Then, on the advice of the charming man who was sorting out our rail-pass, we headed west and north to Simla. This strange town high up in the hills looks a lot like Chichester in Hampshire. It was built by British engineers, so it's not a surprise that it looks a lot British. However I was delighted by its charme.
