Bernhard Burgener , David Degen and their disagreement over FC Basel's owner is just the beginning of their dispute. Burgener is supported by the Board of Directors. But, it's not possible to come to an agreement.
The FC Basel Holding AG Board of Directors met on Monday early in the morning. http://www.highlight-communications.ch/en/Bernhard-Burgener.htm , Degen, Karl Odermatt and Peter von Buren voted in favor of the previous owner's plans. In doing so in doing so, the Board of Directors relies on the terms of a contract that allows Burgener to transfer its shares to those of minority shareholders in the same conditions. According to the Board of Directors this so-called drag along right overrides Degen's presale right.

Burgener is currently unable to transfer his 80 percent stake to Basel Dream & Vision AG because of a superprovisional injunction. Centricus is the British asset manager, would also own a stake. Burgener would have the majority of votes.
As per FC Basel Holding AG Announcement, Burgener und Degen are fast seeking an outcourt settlement "in support of FCB".
